Jen Chien

Jen Chien is Executive Editor for criminal justice reform podcast 70 Million, and its production company LWC Studios. Previously, she was Senior Radio Editor at Reveal from the Center for Investigative Reporting and Managing Editor for Crosscurrents and KALW News. Her work seeks to illuminate important social issues through rigorous journalism and creative storytelling, and uses the intimacy and immediacy of the audio documentary format to engage audiences with intellect, heart, and depth. Awards recognitions include Peabody, Third Coast, Gracies, ONA/OJA, and SPJ Sigma Delta Chi. She holds a BA in American Studies from Smith College, and an MA in Interdisciplinary Performance from New College of California.
