In a world of differences, having productive discourse is the key to bringing together all Americans. Being able to understand each other's “sides” is what will help the shaky democracy in America.

Taking this idea, Ted Wetzel created Dinner and a Fight in Euclid, Ohio. He describes it as, “an evening of food, hot topics, and cool heads as we tackle a tough subject with respectful conversation and civil dialogue!”

Dinner and a Fight is working to bring together citizens by having them engage in conversation and not only learn from one another but constructively disagree.
